Water-Resistance
Water-resistance is at the heart of the Rolex identity. Rolex invented the first waterproof watch, the Oyster, in 1926. Each Oyster is waterproof down to 100 metres/330 feet and is submitted to rigorous testing to ensure water-resistance beyond its guaranteed depth. Models created for divers symbolise the supremacy of Rolex water-resistance at even greater depths. Rolex watches have conquered seas and oceans. A strong and privileged association with water is evident throughout the collection.
